It's the Feast of the Seven Fishes! This is an Italian-American tradition, celebrated on Christmas Eve with with multiple dishes featuring up to seven or thirteen different types of fish. In this print, I celebrate some that I enjoy (featured here in one dish, but if you're lucky you'll get seven individual ones). The fishes featured are: anchovies, cod, crab, lobster, mussels, shrimp, and scallops.
Whether you're Italian or not, and whether you celebrate this tradition or not, this print is a perfect one for fish and food lovers alike. Celebrate the season with a delicious dish to share with friends.
Two hand carved lino prints:
- orange ink on unryu rice paper -- 11x14 inches
- black ink on decorative orange paper -- 11x14 inches
Each print is made by hand and therefore unique and may differ slightly from images shown.
